Utladalen is magical even in pitch darkness - and if you have a good headlamp, the possibilities for the walk are the same whether you walk in the dark or the light. Our tip: find a place where you can sit down for a while, turn off your headlamp and turn on your senses. Light pollution inside Utladalen is minimal, so from a good vantage point you will have orchestra seats facing the Milky Way in all its glory.
