The Fjord and Mountain Route connects mountain villages, fjord landscapes, cultural and historical hiking routes and famous nature experiences in the meeting between Jotunheimen and the Sognefjord. The new bus route will make it easier to visit places such as Utladalen and Vettisfossen , the King's Road over Filefjell, Lærdalsøyri, Aurlandsfjellet, Aurland, Flåm and Gudvangen – without being dependent on your own car.

The route is developed primarily for visiting guests who want to experience the region in a more flexible and environmentally friendly way. At the same time, the offer provides new opportunities for local residents, cabin guests and other travelers who want to use public transport between the fjord and the mountains.
