2) Inner Ofredalen "Lake Ne'fø"
If you drive through the tunnel from Seimsdalen to Ofredalen and follow the road all the way down to the fjord, you will come to a historic site. From the early 18th century until the last world war, this small fjord community was Indre Ofredal , a busy town based on water as a driving force for the mill and sawmill. The forest in Ofredal was, and is, of good quality. In Ytre Ofredal there was a quarry - and white granite from this quarry can be found today at the Grand Hotel in Oslo. The products from the sawmill in Indre Ofredal was transported to Bergen by the parish's own ship and returned with merchant goods that were resold to parishioners who came by rowboat to trade and grind grain. The old mill, which is made of wood, can still be seen today.

4) Kayaking on the Årdalsfjord
Årdalsfjorden is one of the most beautiful parts of the mighty Sognefjord. If you are looking for the feeling of feeling like a small dot in the universe, you will find it here. The mountains surrounding the fjord are more than 400 million years old, and the fjord landscape itself is shaped by powerful forces in the form of ice and water. In Årdalsfjorden you can find both harbor seals and porpoises, which like to follow kayakers (from a distance) because they are so curious. Here you often see golden eagles, and if you lower your gaze when following land, there are both fish and colonies of starfish to see. And best of all - Årdalsfjorden has an unobstructed view in the form of the fjord here being free of air gaps, and boat traffic is otherwise low. Glide out onto the fjord too, breathe with your stomach and enjoy a unique and powerful landscape.
You can book a kayaking trip at Bulder & Brak Opplevingar .
