Årdal has long been known for being a village with a very special spirit of volunteerism, and once again this is evident in the best way. Saturday, June 20th opens Årdal The tourist office is located at Storevegen 13, and the staff there is made up of volunteer pensioners who are passionate about being good ambassadors for their village. Årdal The municipality is responsible for arranging local events, while Visit Årdal is responsible for training tourist hosts and filling the office with informational materials.

Årdal The municipality is one of very few municipalities in the county that operates its own tourist office this year, as several others remain closed or partially closed as a result of the difficult situation surrounding the corona pandemic.
