Bøttejuvet

The mountain formation Bøttejuvet (1322 m) has fantastic views in all directions to Hurrungane, Stølsnostind, Falketind and Hjelledalstind. From the top there is also a view towards Øvre Årdal from a bird's eye view. For generations, legends have been told that Bøttejuvet will crash into Årdalsvatnet. The trip to Bøttejuv takes about 3 hours up and 1 hour down.
